FR833COR011 - Estuaire du Cugliolo

Description

L’estuaire de la Cala Francese est situé sur le site de de la Pointe du Cap Corse du Conservatoire du littoral, sur la commune de Rogliano. La zone humide se trouve sur la ZNIEFF de type 1 “Zones Humides de Barcaggio”. La présence d’eau saûmatre et la connexion avec la mer est permanente sur le site. Au niveau de l’estuaire se forme comme une lagune côtière fermée de manière occasionnelle. La végétation dominante est constituée de Juncus et de phragmites sur les berges, et la végétation alentours forme un maquis assez dense. Des vaches utilisent le site pour pâturer et viennent probablement s’abreuver. Le sentier des douaniers du Conservatoire du littoral passe sur la plage et est utilisé par de nombreux randonneurs et visiteurs. (Inventaire le 05/04/19 par E.Tankovic).
