L’estuaire Cannella est situé sur la commune de Sari-Solenzara. Les berges sont principalement couvertes par des aulnes, et une phragmitaie (Typha, Phragmites). La connexion avec la mer est probablement sèche en été. Un restaurant avec quelques paillotes sur la plage, ainsi qu’un terrain de volley ball se situe au sud de l’estuaire. Une station protégée d’Anchusa crispa de la baie de Cannella se trouve sur la plage. Des ruines d’un ancien pont sont présentes de part et d’autre de l’estuaire, et en amont de la rivière passe la route T10 via un pont. Les habitations autour de la zone sont dispersées.
